Classification
Air-cooled
Working principle diagram:
The air-cooled chiller uses a shell-tube evaporator to exchange heat between the water and the refrigerant. The refrigerant system absorbs the heat load in the water. After cooling the water to produce cold water, the heat is transferred to the fin condenser through the action of the compressor. Dissipated by the cooling fan to the outside air (wind cooling)
Features:
1. The air-cooled chiller does not need to be equipped with a cooling tower. It is suitable for environments with poor impurities. (Improper mixing of impurities in the cold water tower causes dust to circulate in the cooling water circulation circuit, causing a decrease in cooling capacity).
2. The air-cooled chiller is most suitable for areas with poor water quality, and can save other accessories for the cold water tower.

Water-cooled

The water-cooled chiller uses a shell-tube evaporator to exchange heat between the water and the refrigerant. The refrigerant system absorbs the heat load in the water. After the water cools to produce cold water, the heat is transferred to the shell-and-tube condenser through the action of the compressor. The heat exchange between the refrigerant and the water causes the water to absorb the heat and then dissipate the heat through the water pipe outside the cooling tower (water cooling)

Screw type
Screw chiller because of its key components - compressor screw type chiller name, the unit from the evaporator out of the state of the gas refrigerant; after the compressor adiabatic compression, into a high temperature and high pressure state. After being compressed, the gas refrigerant in the condenser is cooled and condensed by equal pressure, then changed into a liquid refrigerant after being condensed, and then expanded to a low pressure through a throttle valve to become a gas-liquid mixture. Among them, the liquid refrigerant under low temperature and low pressure absorbs the heat of the cooled material in the evaporator and becomes a gaseous refrigerant again. The gaseous refrigerant re-enters the compressor through the pipeline and begins a new cycle. This is the four processes of the refrigeration cycle, and it is also the main working principle of screw chillers.
